Owen的帽子戏法!

  • 90+2' The full-time whistle goes at the Volkswagon Arena, and an injury-ravaged Manchester United have come through their Champions League clash with Wolfsburg in fine fashion - a hat-trick from Michael Owen gives the English champions a 3-1 victory! Thanks for joining us.
  • 90+1' United see out the final two minutes with real composure, keeping the ball in their half as Wolfsburg look stunned.
  • 90' There will be two minutes added at the end of this second half, and there is a fan on the field who has words with the Wolfsburg players before he is hauled off.
  • 90' GOAL!!! OWEN NETS HIS HAT-TRICK! The striker breaks on the counter-attack with a run down the left before cutting inside and dinking his shot coolly over Benaglio! Moments before, Riether fails to make contact with a precise cross from Josue, and he should have scored for Wolfsburg before Owen's break!
  • 89' Misimovic lines up a dangerous free-kick from 25 yards out, and this is a huge opportunity for Wolfsburg...but the free-kick is poor and Kuszczak claims comfortably.
  • 88' Owen should grab his hat-trick! The striker is clean through on goal but dinks his shot straight at Benaglio as the chance goes begging!
  • 87' Wolfsburg continue to pile forward with Misimovic at the forefront of everything, but United hold firm.
  • 86' This really will be a triumph for Sir Alex Ferguson, to have shuffled his injury-ravaged squad to produce this kind of display.

  • 84' Wolfsburg bring the ball forward through Gentner now, as United look to protect their slender lead in the final six minutes.
  • 83' GOAL!!! IT'S A BRACE FOR MICHAEL OWEN! The striker restores United's lead, and it was all thanks to Gabriel Obertan! The winger jinks between three Wolfsburg defenders before putting the ball on a plate for Owen to finish!
  • 82' Anderson again brings the ball forward and this time finds Gibson out on the right before the chance peters out.
  • 81' United continue to counter on the break through Obertan on the left, and the visitors are performing very well.
  • 80' Anderson enjoys a rare moment of freedom in the Wolfsburg half as Scholes picks him out in space, but he quickly runs out of options.
  • 79' Dzeko steals in at the back post to meet Costa's hopeful cross, but he puts his effort wide after stooping low on the stretch.
  • 78' Dzeko is winning everything in the air, but is lacking support in attack now.
  • 77' United are continuing to battle fiercely in midfield as Wolfsburg pile forward in frustrated fashion.
  • 76' A raking pass from Costa finds Dzeko at the back post, who takes on an audacious volley which Kuszczak tips wide - good effort.
  • 75' Schafer continues to stride purposefully upfield from his full-back position, and it was his cross which gave the hosts their equaliser.
  • 74' United stroke the ball around at the back, and with Fletcher and Carrick in defence, that is hardly a surprise.
  • 73' Gabriel Obertan and Antonio Valencia come on to replace Welbeck and Nani, respectively as both managers make a double change.

  • 67' Sir Alex Ferguson looks set to make a number of changes as the entire United bench warm up on teh touchline.
  • 66' Welbeck and Owen exchange passes in the Wolfsburg half, but they cannot combine to create an opening.

  • 64' Nani makes a very brave diving block to clear from Misimovic's shot from the edge of the United penalty area.
  • 63' Evra concedes a corner after a good run to block Hasebe's cross from down the Wolfsburg right.
  • 62' Grafite is ruled offside after scuffing his shot anyway with just Kuszczak to beat, and he will be quietly relieved.
  • 61' Gibson makes a determined run down the left which almost catches out Schafter after another forward run from the defender.
  • 60' Grafite is slowly beginning to get more involved in the game after a very subdued first half, and exchanges passes with Dzeko.
  • 59' Schafer is looking very sharp for the hosts as they press forward once more through he and Hasebe.

  • 54' Misimovic brings the ball forward for the hosts before picking out Dzeko outwide, but Park is in neatly to make the challenge.

  • 45+1' The half-time whistle goes at the Volkswagon Arena, and Manchester United lead 1-0 courtesy of Michael Owen's 44th-minute header!
  • 45' There will be just one minute of added time at the end of this first half with United leading through Owen.
  • 44' GOAL!!! OWEN GIVES UNITED THE LEAD! From absolutely nowhere, Nani whips in a sublime delivery from out on the left, and Owen climbs above Schafer to meet it with a downward header past Benaglio!
  • 43' What a save from Kuszczak! Hasebe drills a fierce shot from 25 yards which looks to be heading towards the top corner of Kuszczak's net, only for the Pole to tip the ball over!

  • 40' Gibson plays a crisp pass out to Park on the right, who draws a clumsy challenge from Costa.
  • 39' Welbeck and Owen play a neat one-two on the edge of the Wolfsburg box, but the gangly forward drags his shot wide.
  • 38' Anderson and Evra combine down the left to good effect, before Nani's deep cross is collected by Benaglio.
  • 37' Owen has barely touched the ball so far in this first half, with Welbeck the only real outlet for United in attack.
  • 36' Anderson slides another ball through to Welbeck, but the forward mis-times his run and is caught flat-footed.
  • 35' Grafite finds Dzeko outwide, but Evra steps inside well to intercept with Carrick stranded.
  • 34' Scholes and Park exchange passes down the United right, before Riether makes a stern challenge and punts the ball upfield.
  • 33' Gentner dinks over another cross, this time from the right, but Fletcher is commanding on this occasion and heads away.
  • 32' Gentner whips in a superb delivery from the left which Kuszczak does superbly to punch away to safety with Dzeko lurking ominously!
  • 31' Wolfsburg go back on the attack through Dzeko, with Hasebe following him down the left to provide support.

  • 29' Benaglio keeps the ball at the back patiently for Wolfsburg, exchanging passes with Costa and Riether.
  • 28' Nani powers down the left once more, but again has his run quickly curtailed by Schafer, who is having the better of the winger so far.

  • 24' Nani surges down the left, but sees his run ended abruptly by Barzagli, who is fortunately for Wolfsburg, better at marking than he is at heading.

  • 20' Park wins a corner down the right, and he does not seem to realise that he is playing at full-back, but no matter, United have a corner.
  • 19' Wolfsburg should really be 1-0 up after Barzagli's unbelievable miss, but Ferguson's side have a reprieve as Nani takes the ball forward.
  • 18' Barzagli misses an absolute sitter! The defender rises high to meet Misimovic's corner from the right, but inexplicably heads over the bar, unmarked and just 10 yards out!
  • 17' Anderson has been virtually anonymous for United as he dummies a pass from Evra which drifts through to Park, who is miles offside.

  • 7' Nani scurries down the left and draws Schafer into a strong challenge as United keep the ball well in the Wolfsburg half.
  • 6' Darren 'utility' Fletcher, exchanges passes with Michael 'utility' Carrick, before Park picks up the ball down the right.
